If you are also looking for great cheap places to stay there is a free campsite location listed below but also make sure to check out Airbnb! They have some great places for cheaper than a hotel! But if camping is more your style check out the best way to find free camping in the area.
Longhorn Park – Texas isn’t the only place you can see longhorn cattle. This free park is a great quick roadside stop!
Coronado Cross – A popular attraction in Dodge City is the Coronado Cross.
Santa Fe Trail Tracks – I get giddy over this one! These are actual wagon tracks from a trail the pioneers took on their journey west! There is some great info to read here.
Dodge City Road Side Park – This is not only a nice little park it offers free camping for RVs and tents alike.

Dodge City Thurow Park – A free park to visit with the family.
Wright Park Zoo – A nice little zoo with over 126 animals to take in.

Dodge City Zoo – What’s better than a free zoo? This is a great stop for kids to get some energy out.
