While walking downtown Franklin we stopped and had lunch at The Mellow Mushroom. This is a pizzeria and it was worth the stop!
There was a bit of the wait but they told us our buzzer worked for 3 stores down so we were able to wonder a bit while waiting.
They had some very eclectic and quirky décor.
To start with we ordered garlic bread and it was warm and AMAZING.
We also got the pretzels and Beer Bread. We thought it would be a few pretzel sticks like other places. Oh no! It was full on pretzel knots! We had to take some home!
Two of my kids got the kids Pretzels for lunch.
My other 2 kids shared my small pizza.
Hubby got a fresh Mozzarella and pepperoni pizza.
This was baby girl’s first time eating pizza. She ate it like a champ and ate about a fourth of a slice to herself after eating her baby food!
We had so much food left over for the portions being so big, we took the food home. The kids even wanted it for dinner and mommy didn’t have to cook dinner! Win, win!
