The next best thing when you can’t get to your favorite National Parks in person is to take in one of the National Park Virtual Tours! These include several of the National Park sites as well. Check out the list below.

National Park Virtual Tours

One of my kids, favorite things to do when we visit National Parks and National Park Sites is to get their junior rangers badges. Since you may not be able to do that in some Parks now make sure you check out these Online Junior Ranger Programs. You do the work at home and send it in and they send you your badge!

When Parks start to open again and you get in there to really look around don’t forget to visit the Ranger Station so any kids traveling can get their National Park Passport stamped.

Thanks to Corrine and her Mom, Michelle for the amazing email sent to me. Corrine’s Girl Scout Troop was earning their Arts and Culture Fun Patch and use this article to do activities required to earn the patch. Michelle and Corrine worked hard and even found a few more sites for Vitrual Tours. Here is what they found:

This one takes you on a virtual trip through the US and each state, and lists a historical landmark, museum or zoo you can check out.

This one is world wide and has tons of aquariums, zoos, parks and live cams for animals, plus famous world building and landmarks to enjoy.

Thanks Corrine and Michelle!
