Recently had my wedding at the Winter Park Farmer's Market and they 100% F***ed up. The manager of the building told us we would have the parking lot clear and venue space set up with tables and chairs. Neither happened. We're were suppose to have the ceremony in the parking lot, but it was filled with cars and the venue tables and chairs were not set up inside. I, the bride, emailed the manager the Friday before the weekend to verify she had the right floor plan. The manager confirm that we were good to go. She also told us there was an event the night before so we could not practice in the parking lot, when there was no event the night before. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because the venue realized they f***ed up and gave us a full refund. My family and friend so came early to set up save the event and none of our guest knew what happened. It was a beautiful wedding and one of the best weddins our guest had ever been to. The moral of the story is have great family and friends to save the day when your location f**s up.

On holiday in the Orlando area and we decided to visit having read the reviews as an alternative activity to the usual Orlando fare.

Parking is easy enough although be aware that some roads are closed for the market. Unless you are stopping to eat, 3 hours is enough which means you can park on a nearby street or one of the nearby parking lots (we parked next to the railway station - a sub-5 minute walk away). Parking is free unless you want to stay for more than 3 or 4 hours.

The market is in a small area near to the park, part indoors and part outdoors. On our visit, I’d estimate that there were no more than 20-25 stalls covering fruit and veg, produce such as honey or breads, flowers and food such as popcorn or cakes.

You can cover the market in 30 minutes of browsing. People are friendly, and what they are selling looks good but with the size if the market competition is low as with the exception of food, there is only one of each type of stall.

There was no meat stall when we visited and overall we had an hours journey for very little. On the plus side the town is pretty, and there are shops to explore, just don’t go there expecting a substantial market.

Don’t expect hours of browsing here. Nice to see fresh produce and flowers when there is ice and snow back home. There a real good prank juice stand where I never tasted any better. Florida is famous for its oranges and grapefruits.
A good starting point before walking through the adjacent park, Christmas Carols at that time of the year, and the festive spirit. Park Avenue is the nicest ‘main street’ you will find anywhere.

I come to this farmers market nearly every weekend and love it! People are so friendly, and there is so much variety. You can get coffee, flowers, popcorn, indian food, cakes, sauces, nut butters, fruits and veggies, and so much more. The shroom coffee from the kombucha wagon is THE reason I come back!! So amazing! It's also fun to shop around Park Avenue, which is right across the train tracks. Parking is free, and dogs are welcome which is also great! Love it!

The location was changed and since we are new to the area, we went to THIS location. It's actually .3 mile down the street in the park, moved due to COVID. The spacing is great and there are porta-potties and hand sanitizing stations. The variety of vendors was commendable, though many stalls could not have samples due to COVID. There were only a few food venders to actually buy food and those had large crowds around them. We were able to purchase a few things - the kettle corn vendor had a reasonable and delicious offering. We enjoyed meeting the various small businesses in the area. It's pet and child friendly. A great way to spend a Saturday morning and get to know local businesses!

We so look forward to being in Winter Park on Saturdays. Oh yum! The Bearded Vegan always has good healthy sips, and Jamaican Patties, great prices on plants, the fruit, herbs & veggies are on full display, the pasta guy....get there early for him. He runs out & its FABULOUS pasta, delicious pastries & bread....it's a must do!

I’ve only gone once but the time I went it was just ok. I thought it would be a lot bigger. I heard sometimes it has more venders. I’ll try again.

This is a local gem and always a fun activity for the regulars and tourists alike. You can pick up a lot of different items: lots of different food/drinks, fresh produce, plants, crafts, dog items...bring a shopping bag and cash for the quick purchases (a lot of merchants take credit cards). This market is open the entire year and is even better during the cooler "winter" months; all the vendors are very friendly and items are very reasonably priced. Food trucks are around to get a bite or many other vendors have sandwiches, fries, drinks, frozen treats. Best to go in AM then walk around Winter Park afterwards to enjoy the local sites and people watching!

It is a great place to visit, especially on a beautiful day. We spent a considerable amount of time there and found some great bargains. There is something for everyone...I had 3 small grandchildren with me and they loved it!
